Cleveland's really a large city and Cuyahoga County alone has over 50 municipalities. it's a city in major transition with Ford planning to leave and facing the rustbelt lock out of jobs all over the northern Midwesr. But because real estate prices have cime down so much in the past few years, now may be the time to snap up some good bargains, "Flipping" season's over, folks. Buy a home to live in at bargain-basement prices nd be glad you did. This are is going to see better days soon. Buy a house and enjoy it. Don't worry about next year's prices.

While Cleveland was the poorest city in the U.S. Detroit runs a close second. The number of registered sex offenders compared to the number of residents in this city is fortunately a lot smaller than the state average. There are three hospitals very close bym wutnhin just 6 miles of townm and three public schools and
six private schools, xclusively sectarion or church-affiliated, but the scholastic rating off this community is among the highest in the nation--one of the bes magnets for growth in this community there is. There lso three hospitals within 6 miles of the town.
The beautiful Rocky River Reservation runs through part of this town. It's a beautiful rocky river (naturally) that has lots of shale outcroppings and beautiful thick trees. There are many hiking trails through this area and it's a welcome retreat for people who want to refresh their spirits in a bit of wild nature.
Real estate is certainly affordable here. There are many listings on the market between $100,000 and $200,000. http://cleveland.backpage.com/realestate/classifieds/Results?section=4375&keyword=Rocky+river®ion=&category=&priceMin=min&priceMax=max&bedrooms=
Small townhouses/coops can be purchased, incredibly, for well under $100,000. I found a 2-bed, 2-bath home for sale for just $168,900 with 1,260 sq. ft. It's an older home, a pretty colonial, and fireplace, patio, wood floors and finished basement are the amenities. FewChoose Birminghan Wisely-Best NeighborhoodsNeigborhood: city

United States of America homes in this price range have 2 full baths. Near $200,000 and up to $300,000 the homes begin to have more elaborate updates and amenities. I found a 4-bed, 2.5-bath home with a golf course view for just $194,000 and amenities including an updated kitchen, community swimming pool, deck and two fireplaces. This is an excellent price when compared to countrywide averages.
A 3-bed, 3-bath condo/townhouse is selling for $281,900 and there are too many amenities to list all--2-car garage, fireplace, deck, patio, cul-de-sac, finished basement, game room, and more. This seems like a good price for a home with about 2,201 sq. ft. Homes over $300,000 will generally have either large rooms or more bedrooms and extra amenities. One, on .25 acre, was listed for $332,500 and had 4 bed, 2.5 baths--many amenities here, with 3, ,186 sq. ft.
The Beachcliff Subdivision has listing much more sizeable and with pretty landscaped lawns. Obviously the beachfront properties are prime properties just like they would be on the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico. This is an area for executives and perhaps retirees with solid incomes. I saw a pretty Georgian two-story brick with 4-bed, 4.5 baths on 1/3 acre for $425,000
Overall, Rocky River seems to have affordable properties for families and also a range of low-cost townhouses/condos for young people or students who want a nice area without paying a premium. It also has a wide range of choices for people with the means to buy into some of the prime areas by a golf course or even along the Lake.
